Justice for Mother Earth
On April 30th, we celebrated San Diego Green New Deal Alliance day with our Justice for Mother Earth event. We gathered at the City Heights Performance Annex and learned about Indigenous and climate justice, and how the climate emergency is fueling displacement.

Thank you to the Kumeyaay tribal members who started our event with opening prayers and tribal songs. Special thanks to Bobby Wallace and Ral Christman for leading these practices.
Following the opening ceremony, Calpulli Mexihca performed traditional Danza Azteca dances.
